The Parasport Forum, initiated by the Romanian Paralympic Committee and supported by Betano, aims to enhance the training of coaches for athletes with disabilities. This initiative seeks to significantly increase the number of Romanian athletes qualifying for the Paralympic Games by 2032. The forum addresses the shortage of coaches in the paralympic sports sector, with plans to train and certify 300 coaches. The first edition took place in Brașov, providing valuable insights into paralympic training and establishing connections with clubs and the committee. Future editions are scheduled in Constanța, Timișoara, and Miercurea Ciuc, with plans to expand nationwide by 2027-2028.
