Two earthquakes occurred in the Vrancea seismic zone on the night of October 27, with the strongest registering a magnitude of 3.1. The first quake, measured at 2.3 magnitude, struck at 01:53 and was located at a depth of 120.2 kilometers. The second quake followed less than four hours later at 05:42, with a depth of 79.5 kilometers. Both earthquakes are classified as weak by the National Institute for Earth Physics (INCDFP).
