Two new HD TV channels are set to launch in November 2026 on Digi RCS-RDS Romania, namely Cinethronix HD and Cinemaraton Plus HD. Cinethronix, focused on Romanian documentaries, has had a complex history, previously leaving the Digi cable lineup but later resuming broadcasts in both SD and HD formats after obtaining a new license. Cinemaraton Plus, which has been available in SD on Digi, is expected to introduce its HD version soon, aligning with offerings from competing operators.
