The opening of the A0 Nord highway section between Afumați and Cernica has been postponed until the end of the year due to ongoing construction work. The Ilfov County Council announced that the 13-kilometer stretch will be operational by year-end, despite earlier claims of an October 26 opening. The CNAIR stated that additional work is still required before the highway can be opened, which is expected to ease traffic in the Ilfov-Bucharest area. The new road will connect with existing county roads and other highways, significantly reducing travel times for local families.
