On Monday, Environment Minister Natalia Intotero visited the Paltinu and Măneciu dams to discuss water supply management with relevant authorities. The meeting aimed to prevent water shortages by fostering collaboration among stakeholders. An inter-institutional working group was established to outline intervention schedules and responsibilities, with a report due in two weeks. The minister emphasized the importance of ensuring a reliable water supply for the population, highlighting the need for cooperation among institutions and respect for those managing this vital resource. Last year, water supply was disrupted in Prahova and Dâmbovița due to a dam malfunction.
