Over 70,000 pilgrims have visited the relics of Saint Demetrius the New in Bucharest, with expectations to exceed 100,000 by the end of the event. The waiting time for worship is around 5-6 hours. The pilgrimage, organized by the Romanian Patriarchate, runs from October 18 to 28, coinciding with the feast day of Saint Demetrius on October 27. The relics will be relocated to the Patriarchal Cathedral based on the number of pilgrims, either on October 28 or 29.
