The limited number of staff, only 7 operators and 3 verifiers for national pensions, exacerbates the situation. Additionally, the IT system, which cost €2.5 million, has not been functioning properly, hindering timely pension decisions. The implementation of new pension laws has further complicated matters, as the necessary software adaptations are still not fully operational.
