A new electric bus depot is set to be built in Alba Iulia, featuring facilities for 60 buses, a Park & Ride parking lot, and charging stations. The project has received approval from the County Environmental Protection Agency, confirming it does not require an environmental impact assessment. The depot will include a maintenance building, administrative offices, and 104 parking spaces for cars, with 24 electric vehicle charging points. The design aims to integrate individual transport with public transport, enhancing accessibility and sustainability in the area. Green spaces will also be incorporated into the project.
