Ilie Bolojan made his first appearance in Parliament after leaving the position of Prime Minister, receiving mixed reactions from colleagues. Following a delay, he engaged briefly with some USR members before returning to his seat. Bolojan was ousted in May through a no-confidence motion, and after 168 days, a new government led by Luca Niculescu was confirmed with significant parliamentary support. Niculescu's appointment marked the fourth attempt to establish a new cabinet after previous nominees failed to gain approval.
