The Romanian military ship "Eugen Stihi," built over a century ago, will be scrapped due to neglect and failed preservation efforts. Originally named "Friponne," it served in World War II and was later repurposed for training. Despite attempts to convert it into a museum, the plan was abandoned, leading to its current state of deterioration in Mangalia port. The ship has been transferred for dismantling after being deemed beyond repair.
