Military students and locals have restored the Unknown Soldiers' Cemetery in Sebeșu de Jos, honoring 82 fallen soldiers from World War I. This initiative coincides with the 110th anniversary of Romania's entry into the war and involved various community members, including military instructors and local authorities. The cemetery contains 68 common graves of Romanian, German, and Hungarian soldiers, reflecting the tragic impact of war. The project "Take Care of a Hero's Cross!" aims to instill patriotic values through direct involvement in preserving historical sites. The local community's participation highlights the importance of remembering heroes and fostering a sense of responsibility towards history.
