The Ministry of Finance will extend the fuel excise reduction and the limit on fuel markups until January 31, 2027, to protect consumers and the economy from high fuel prices. A draft resolution has been prepared to maintain crisis measures in the oil and petroleum products market, including temporary excise reductions and monitoring of exports. Without these measures, diesel prices could rise significantly, impacting consumer costs and inflation. The project aims to support businesses, especially in transport and agriculture, by keeping fuel costs lower. The resolution must be adopted before October 31, 2026, to ensure continuity of current measures.
