Two research programs in Romania receive a non-repayable contribution of 20.4 million Swiss francs from Switzerland, supplemented by state budget funding. These initiatives aim to enhance international collaboration among Romanian researchers, improve access to advanced scientific infrastructures, and develop capabilities for emissions monitoring. The IRCP program focuses on international partnerships and stronger participation of Romanian researchers in European and international scientific projects, while the ERMI program is dedicated to developing research infrastructure for measuring and analyzing emissions data. The launch conference took place on October 22 at ELI-NP, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration and scientific infrastructure access.
