Italy is seeking nearly 10,000 workers by the end of 2026, primarily in tourism, commerce, and food industries. Many companies face recruitment challenges, especially for young and foreign candidates. In the provinces of Forli Cesena and Rimini, over 18,000 positions are planned, with 7,830 expected in October alone. The demand is particularly high in hospitality and food sectors, with a significant portion of jobs requiring temporary contracts. Employers are struggling to fill 47.3% of available positions due to a lack of candidates and insufficient qualifications. New companies in Italy also plan to hire over 22,000 workers, focusing on young and skilled individuals, especially in service sectors.
