A cooperative from Matca, Galați, will supply fresh fruits and vegetables to Carrefour stores in Romania, enhancing local production support. The cooperative, Grădina Noastră, consists of five local farming families and cultivates on 10 hectares. Their products will be available from late March to early November, depending on the season. Carrefour aims to strengthen local agriculture through partnerships, providing farmers with a stable market and support for development. The program includes 15 partner cooperatives and has seen a 60% increase in volumes compared to last year.
