The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) has proposed a parliamentary commission to investigate illegal migration management and related crimes. This initiative aims to identify legislative vulnerabilities and enhance public safety measures. The proposal comes amid rising foreign worker numbers and documented illegal stays in Romania. The commission will consist of 15 deputies and will evaluate the activities of immigration authorities and border police. A final report is expected within 60 days, outlining findings and legislative recommendations.
