Sorin Grindeanu, the president of PSD, announced plans for government accountability regarding administrative reform and restructuring. He emphasized that taxes for citizens and businesses will not increase in 2027. Grindeanu rejected the idea of solving budget issues through new taxes, advocating for public fund efficiency instead. He outlined two key reforms: merging small localities while maintaining public services and reducing government agencies. Dragoș Benea will lead the administrative reform, while Marian Neacșu will oversee government restructuring. Both reforms and the 2027 budget must be addressed by March 2027.
