Moldovan citizens will soon be able to start businesses via their phones without bureaucratic hurdles, according to Claudiu Năsui, the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization. The initiative, named START, allows entrepreneurs to operate without prior approvals, focusing on small businesses first. Regulations will shift to post-activity controls rather than pre-approvals, easing the entry for small entrepreneurs. Năsui emphasizes that there will be no need for accounting or tax declarations, as taxes will be calculated automatically. This approach aims to foster entrepreneurship by allowing individuals to test their business ideas easily, contributing to a vibrant economy.
