Thousands of Brazilians celebrated President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's victory in the second round of elections, with festivities peaking in São Paulo. Supporters gathered with flags, dancing and cheering, while fireworks lit up the sky. Lula secured 51.79% of the votes against Flávio Bolsonaro's 48.21%, marking a significant comeback after trailing in the first round. Lula's win grants him a fourth non-consecutive term, but Bolsonaro's camp is contesting the results, citing issues during voting. The close vote highlights Brazil's political divisions, with Bolsonaro's party gaining strength in Congress, complicating Lula's future governance.
