With the new government in place, Mihai Cătălin Văsii has officially resigned as prefect of Brașov, paving the way for a social-democrat to take over. Lucian Mija, a PSD member and businessman, is the proposed successor. Mija previously served as sub-prefect and has political experience, including founding a USR initiative group.
