The canine training center in Sibiu is preparing dogs to detect mobile communication devices and data storage equipment. The training starts from birth and costs nearly 20,000 lei per dog. The center focuses on German shepherds and Belgian Malinois for their endurance and discipline. Training expenses vary based on mission complexity, with costs exceeding 19,400 lei for high-precision tasks. Currently, the center houses around 210 dogs and trains about 100 specialists annually. To expand operations, additional funding for staff and infrastructure is necessary, as well as more resources for care and training.
