Two Ukrainian citizens were rescued from the Maramureș Mountains, one of whom had medical issues, following a nighttime mission by the local rescue service. The intervention was initiated after four Ukrainians reported a man unable to move. Despite their efforts, they could not assist him down the mountain and sought help from the Border Police, providing a video but no exact location. Rescuers searched the indicated area and expanded their search downstream, eventually finding the 26-year-old in an abandoned forest wagon, showing signs of mild hypothermia. He was warmed and later handed over to the Border Police. A second Ukrainian citizen was also recovered on the return trip.
