The German armed forces will join the first military exercise of the Coalition of Volunteers for Ukraine in November, taking place in Poland, Romania's airspace, and the western Black Sea. Germany will contribute ten officers, two A400M refueling aircraft, and logistical support. This exercise aims to test the operational readiness of the multinational force led by France and the UK, established to ensure a future peace agreement with Russia. Approximately 34 countries are part of this coalition, with initial exercises planned for 2026. The exact number of troops involved in November remains unclear, but reports suggest around 1,500 soldiers may participate.
