The Turnu Roșu Inclusive Education Center is participating in the Erasmus+ project "CALM-MATH" aimed at enhancing mathematics education for students with special educational needs. The project launch event takes place in Lithuania from October 22-23, 2026, involving educators from Lithuania, Turkey, Ireland, and Romania. The initiative focuses on creating practical guides and lesson templates to help students overcome challenges in understanding abstract mathematical concepts. The project has a total budget of €250,000, with €38,326 allocated to the Turnu Roșu center. The first meeting will include discussions on project structure, material development, and quality criteria for classroom implementation. The center will also lead the pilot testing of new teaching methods across partner countries.
