The Haller Bastion and Cazarma 90 walls will undergo restoration funded by European grants, focusing on masonry rehabilitation, waterproofing, and LED architectural lighting. Local councilors will approve technical-economic indicators for the restoration project at the end of October. The total investment amounts to 20,320,751.36 lei, with construction costs at 14,450,942.37 lei. Initiated by Mayor Astrid Cora Fodor, the project aims to enhance public spaces and promote tourism in Sibiu's historic center. Proposed works include vegetation removal, masonry repairs, and the installation of LED lighting. Both sites are significant historical landmarks and part of the city's main tourist routes.
