Recent snowfall has returned to Transfăgărășan, prompting road crews to clear the roads and spread anti-slip materials. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and ensure their vehicles are properly equipped for winter conditions. The snowfall is part of a trend that began in late September, with significant snow accumulation reported at higher altitudes. Meteorologists predict continued cold air masses, leading to mixed precipitation and light snowfall in mountainous areas, although significant precipitation is not expected in the coming days.
