Construction on the A13 Sibiu-Făgăraș highway is progressing, with the Turkish company Makyol installing the last metal segment of an arch bridge. The bridge spans 164 meters and stands 32 meters high, currently at 72% completion. Director Cristian Pistol reported that 558 workers and 182 machines are on-site, with overall progress exceeding 52%. Two additional complex arch bridges are also under construction. The four segments of the highway range from 28% to 53% completion, with a total length of 68 km expected to be finished by 2028. The project is valued at 6.4 billion lei and aims to enhance connectivity in Transylvania and beyond.
