In the last 24 hours, nearly 95,000 people crossed Romania's border, with authorities reporting 82 illegal acts and fines totaling over 29,226 lei. The border police processed around 95,600 individuals and over 15,800 vehicles, primarily at the borders with Serbia, Moldova, and Ukraine. Since the conflict began, over 16.2 million Ukrainians have entered Romania. The police conducted over 16,700 checks using the eDAC application, as systematic border checks will be eliminated in 2025. Authorities identified 82 illegal acts, including 31 crimes and 51 contraventions, confiscating goods worth approximately 225,200 lei. Additionally, 26 foreign nationals were denied entry, and 16 Romanian citizens were barred from leaving the country.
