An exhibition titled "About Heroes, War, Life and Death" will open on October 27, 2026, at the Alba Iulia Exhibition Galleries. It focuses on the biographies of participants in World War I, highlighting diverse experiences of Romanian soldiers in the Austro-Hungarian army. Some served honorably, while others deserted or were forgotten. Organized by local institutions, the exhibition will showcase photographs and documents revealing untold stories of individuals affected by the war, including soldiers, a teacher, and war orphans. The event aims to commemorate the impact of war on lives and communities.
