The Romanian Attorney General, Cristina Chiriac, has called for a coordinated and immediate response to recent violent incidents in schools, emphasizing the need to address online threats and extremism. Following two attacks in Bistrita and Pitesti, where students injured peers and teachers, Chiriac stressed that violence in schools is unacceptable and must be treated as a serious public order issue. She highlighted the importance of collaboration among various authorities to prevent such incidents and ensure the safety of students and teachers. Chiriac also pointed out that legal enforcement should be accompanied by preventive measures, education, and psychological support to protect minors effectively.
