The new unified salary law for public sector employees will be discussed by the government in 2027, according to Labor Minister Florin Manole. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the budget envelope for salary expenses, linked to Romania's commitments to reduce the deficit. Manole stated that the future law must be fair and developed in collaboration with unions and ministries. He criticized the PNL regarding the previous salary law project, which was rejected by ministers before the PSD expressed its position. Manole highlighted the role of unions as legitimate representatives of workers in Romania.
