In Sibiu, no school has exclusive human security, and only 63 have both guards and video surveillance. A report reveals that many schools lack security systems, raising concerns after recent violent incidents. The Minister of Education has called for hiring 1,000 guards nationwide. Out of 328 public schools, 39 have no security measures, mostly in rural areas. Only 234 schools conducted risk assessments, with less than half implementing necessary security measures. Investments for security have exceeded 2.8 million lei, primarily for guard services and surveillance systems.
