A couple from Bucharest was sentenced for kidnapping two five-month-old twins and holding them captive for 24 days to beg. The twins were taken from their Indonesian mother under false pretenses, with the couple claiming they would be taken to the Vatican. Instead, the infants were kept in a car and used for begging.
