Moldovan President Maia Sandu attended events in Budapest marking the 70th anniversary of the anti-communist revolution, praised by MEP Nicu Ștefănuță. Sandu honored the courage of the Hungarian people and discussed security and EU expansion with Hungarian leaders. Notably absent were key European leaders, while Romania lacked high-level representation at the ceremonies.
