Six women have reached plea agreements in a case involving elderly individuals being lured by deepfake ads to purchase unauthorized dietary supplements. Five of them posed as medical specialists without proper qualifications. The agreements, which include suspended sentences ranging from nine months to one year and six months, have been submitted to courts for review. The broader investigation has identified over 30,000 potential victims and a financial loss exceeding 14 million lei.
