The craft of making traditional sheepskin garments is fading, with only two artisans left in Mureș County. Ioan Pascu, from Breaza, learned the trade from his father and creates unique pieces using techniques passed down through generations. His wife assists in decorating these garments, which feature symbolic designs influenced by Saxon traditions. Although demand has decreased, there are still buyers interested in traditional clothing, including priests and police officers. Ioan finds joy in seeing customers appreciate his work, highlighting the cultural significance of these handmade items.
