Geotechnical investigations for the A3 Ploiești–Brașov highway have reached 4,692 meters out of the planned 33,000 meters, indicating only 13.97% completion. The mountainous area remains unaddressed due to access difficulties, and the National Company for Road Investments (CNIR) cannot estimate when the feasibility study will be completed. In September, 642 meters of drilling were executed, while August reported around 1,000 meters. CNIR is exploring access solutions for the mountainous region, with recent field checks identifying both accessible and challenging sites. The feasibility study is still in progress, and without completed investigations, the project cannot move forward.
