The karate team from Metalurgistul Cugir achieved remarkable success at the SKDUN World Cup in Italy, winning 20 medals, including six golds. Iulian Molodeț, the youngest member, earned two bronze medals in his first world tournament. The event featured over 1,100 athletes from 27 countries, with Romania finishing second overall. Coach Vasile Pricob praised the athletes for their outstanding performance and thanked supporters. The next competition for the team is the National SKDUN Championship scheduled for mid-November.
