Two people died, including Geanina Gavrilescu, a mother who struggled to raise her three children after her husband's suicide. The accident occurred when the minibus driver failed to maintain a safe distance and was reportedly distracted by his phone. Despite the driver's attempt to swerve, many passengers were severely injured. Gavrilescu's daughter recognized her mother by a tattoo after the accident, recalling a similar traumatic experience with her father. The driver has been placed under judicial control after initially being detained.
