Transgaz and Kawasaki Heavy Industries have signed a memorandum to invest €21 million in hydrogen technology, focusing on large-scale transport solutions. The partnership aims to leverage Transgaz's experience in gas infrastructure and Kawasaki's expertise in centrifugal compressors. A key project, ROHYD, will study the blending of natural gas and hydrogen. The collaboration includes testing new compression technology and installing an electrolyzer. This initiative could position Romania as a regional hub for hydrogen technologies, enhancing efficiency and setting future standards in the sector.
