This follows a control conducted by a mixed commission established by the Prefecture. Terente emphasized the importance of legal compliance and public interest protection. Earlier, the Veterinary Directorate suspended a private shelter's activity due to deficiencies, leading to a criminal investigation for animal cruelty. The shelter resumed operations last weekend under veterinary norms, while a mixed control commission was formed to address ongoing issues. Terente also reported an illegal animal shelter in the area to the police.
