The mayor of Bucharest, Ciprian Ciucu, warned of potential heating system issues this winter and for the next 15-20 years. He emphasized the aging infrastructure and possible difficulties from the Elcen company in maintaining optimal water temperatures. Despite these challenges, he assured residents that heating bills would remain unchanged for the winter. Additionally, temporary interruptions in heating supply are planned for Sector 4 due to modernization works, affecting 17 thermal points serving around 166 buildings.
