President Nicușor Dan has signed a decree for the retirement of Brigadier General Toma Constantin Marius-Cezar from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He led the Bucharest Gendarmerie since November 1, 2025, and was promoted to general earlier this year. Toma previously served as the head of the Argeș County Gendarmerie and was appointed to ensure continuity in leadership. He holds degrees in legal and economic sciences and serves as an honorary priest for the hearing-impaired community in Pitești.
