This initiative, part of the 'Safe Sport' program, utilized AI-assisted moderation to analyze over 3.7 million comments. More than 85% of players faced online abuse, with the program successfully hiding over 162,000 extremely abusive comments in its first year. ATP emphasizes the importance of player welfare and continues to invest in technology and partnerships to combat online abuse. Other tennis organizations are also implementing AI tools to protect players from harassment.
