On Army Day, Romanian Defense Minister Ștefan-Radu Oprea and military leaders congratulated Romanian soldiers on international missions during a video conference. They acknowledged the professionalism and contributions of the troops in various operations, including EUFOR and KFOR. The Minister emphasized the importance of their roles and encouraged them to take care of each other while being away from home. Approximately 1,000 Romanian soldiers are currently engaged in missions under NATO, EU, and UN mandates.
