Jeffrey Sachs criticizes Europe's military support for Ukraine, arguing it prolongs the conflict without a diplomatic strategy. He questions whether Europe aims to save Ukraine or defeat Russia at any cost. Sachs emphasizes the need for dialogue with Russia and warns against escalating rhetoric that could lead to nuclear confrontation. He advocates for Ukraine's neutrality and stresses the importance of credible international guarantees in any future agreements. The situation is particularly relevant for Romania, which seeks a stable Ukraine while avoiding direct NATO-Russia confrontation.
