Europol, in collaboration with judicial authorities from 34 countries, conducted a major operation against labor exploitation, resulting in 27 arrests and identifying 248 potential victims. Most victims are men exploited in construction and agriculture, with 5% being minors. The operation, part of an EMPACT initiative led by Sweden, focused on high-risk sectors and revealed widespread human trafficking across Europe. Key findings included cases of forced labor, sexual exploitation, and child exploitation. Authorities discovered networks exploiting individuals from various countries, highlighting the urgent need for continued action against trafficking.
