Alexandru Mihai Ghigiu, born on January 19, 1989, is the current Minister of Investments and European Projects in the Niculescu Government. He holds degrees in Public Administration and Political Science, along with multiple advanced training programs in diplomacy and public governance. Ghigiu has held various academic and administrative positions at the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration since 2012. His political career includes roles as a counselor in the Ministry of National Education, Secretary of State, and President of the National Institute of Administration. He was also a deputy and chair of the Education Committee in the Chamber of Deputies. Ghigiu was previously nominated as Minister of Environment but was not confirmed by Parliament.
