Russia has announced the resumption of negotiations with Ukraine, set to take place in Abu Dhabi in early November. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that these trilateral peace talks will focus on ensuring security for both nations post-conflict. He emphasized the importance of these discussions for achieving a peaceful resolution, stating that a comprehensive solution is unattainable without them. While the talks will primarily involve Russia, Ukraine, and the USA, Peskov noted that the participation of European representatives is not ruled out. This announcement follows a meeting between President Putin and a US envoy, indicating Moscow's readiness to engage in negotiations aimed at establishing a post-war security framework. Ukrainian President Zelensky expressed support for the US initiative to hold these talks as soon as possible, highlighting the urgency of ending the war and preparing for a leaders' meeting.
