The National Meteorological Administration has issued a warning for strong winds and rain until Friday morning. Rain will begin in Transylvania overnight and will affect most of the country on Thursday. Heavy rainfall is expected, particularly in the Western Carpathians, with possible thunderstorms and hail. Wind speeds will increase, especially in the Southern Carpathians, with gusts exceeding 70 km/h on mountain peaks. Sibiu County is not under severe weather warnings, but a yellow wind alert is in effect for Caraș-Severin and Timiș counties. The Transfăgărășan road remains open, with winter closure dependent on weather conditions.
